Bratislava restaurants

Every tourist coming to Slovakia even for a couple of days is asking about the typical Slovak national dish. Well, it is not that food we eat every day -nowadays-, but well prepared it is delicious. We are talking about "potato dumplings with sheep cheese and pieces of bacon on the surface" or in Slovak - bryndzove halusky. Combined with a cold buttermilk or in Slovak - cmar tastes really good.

Another typical dish is kapustnica (cabbage soup) with sausages and mushrooms served with bread. Usually served on the 24 December during the Christmas dinner.  

Restaurants are of very high quality, offering cuisine at reasonable prices and a level of service you would expect in any Capital City around the world!
