It is hard to say which point of this tour is the highlight. We drive from Bratislava along Small Carpathian Mountain Range through various former royal towns until we reach town Casta and the Red Stone Castle. We look round this magnificent, well-preserved Renaissance/Baroque castle owned by famous families like the Fuggers or the Pallfys We visit the fully-furnished interior part, the Gentlmen and Ladies` Parlour, the picture gallery, furniture exposition, the library, the chapel, exposition of historic weapons, wine cellars and lot more.

We continue to Modra, a town famous for viniculture and hand-thrown ceramics. Visiting workshop Slovak Folk Majolik, the major producer of the world-known Majolica ceramics, you can learn about this creative handicrafts. A piece of ceramics makes an excellent present or souvenir. You will get a chance to buy one in a shop after the visit.

Wine tasting includes a visit of a traditional wine cellar where wine and cheese plates are served, giving you a chance to taste 6 samples of local quality wines. You will certainly enjoy the atmosphere, provided by the background of wine producing along Little Carpathian Wine Route…The three towns we pass through became free royal towns in the 17th century, above all, thanks to delicious wine, produced in this region. Wine lovers are welcomed not only for special vintage feasts but also the for the wine cellars` opening day when around 60 of them are available to public.
