DAY 1

WELCOME TO BRATISLAVA, CAPITAL OF SLOVAKIA

Meet & greet at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. 
Welcome drink & Welcome dinner with your Tour Director

DAY 2

BRATISLAVA SIGHTSEEING-SMALL CARPATHIANS TRIP

Start your day with VIP sightseeing tour - see Bratislava castle, Main square & city hall, Slovak National Theatre, Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra & Slovak National Gallery, Primate's palace & tapestries...Presidential palace...and war memorial...we combined this sightseeing with a minibus tour. And not to forget Petrzalka district, largest housing estate in Central Europe built under the communist regime. 

Lunch break. At leisure – shopping / exploring

Little Carpathians tour - we'll drive north-east of Bratislava (40min drive) to visit a Red Stone castle, magnificent, well-preserved Renaissance/Baroque castle owned by famous families like the Fuggers or the Palfys, then we visit a ceramic factory in Modra, where you can buy an original present, and finish with a professional wine tasting of Slovak wines coming from Small Carpathians wine region ( 6 samples of wines, cheese plate )

DAY 3

WELCOME TO PRAGUE-QUALITY SIGHTSEEING TOUR

Transfer to Prague (4hours drive). Lunch Break. VIP sightseeing tour by minibus to see the major historical areas of the city centre - the New town, Wenceslav square, the Old town, Lesser town. Then walk to Prague castle - to admire the St. Vitus Cathedral, the ancient architecture of the Old Royal Palace, of course, we'll enjoy views on Prague. Prague - has various names such as mother of cities, gold city or city of hundred spices...

 We'll cross famous gothic Charles Bridge which connects the Old Town and Mala Strana, Jewish Synagogues, Old Town square & magnificent Old Town Hall and the famous clock, hourly showing 12 apostles.
 

Free time for exploring, shopping or relaxing on one of many teraces in the Old town square.

DAY 4

JEWISH QUARTER-KARLSTEJN CASTLE TOUR

 

Visit of Jewish quarter, Old Jewish Cemetery and 5 synagogues - The Old-New Synagogue, the Pinkas, the Klausen, the Spanish and Meisel.

 Transfer to Karlstein (50min drive)- castle tour - a visit of mighty 14th century fortress - huge gothic castle is one of the most popular tours outside Prague.

 Karlstejn is built high on a seemingly impregnable rocky hillside, in the heart of a thick forest.

Commissioned by the mighty Emperor Charles IV, this outstanding medieval construction was built in the years 1348-1355. Karlstejn was the main depository of the Emperor's coronation jewels and state documents for his whole empire. Today the castle still houses many important Czech national treasures. The Czech Republic was a major European force in the middle ages and has hundreds of castles.

Karlstejn is undoubtedly one of, if not the finest castles in Central Europe. Free time for exploring, shopping or relaxing.

DAY 5

WELCOME TO VIENNA-QUALITY CITY TOUR

Transfer to Vienna, Austria (4hours drive). VIP sightseeing tour around the Old City. See Stephan's square and famous Kartner Strasse, Stephan's Cathedral, the Parliament, the imperial palace Hofburg – once seat of the Habsburgs,  Staatsoper, Burgtheater and famous Rathaus (town hall). Relax walk in Viennese Stadtpark – city park and admire famous Johann Straus monument.

 Vienna coffe ( Wiener Kaffee) and Sacher cake ( Sacher Torte ). Delicious. One of the traditional foods is Wienerschnitzel ( pork meat), why not to try it..

DAY 6

VIENNA WOODS

Half day tour in Vienna Woods - Castle Liechtenstein - Seegrotte - Mayerling - Abbey of Heiligenkreuz - Baden. 

We'll show you the most beautiful sights of the southern part of the Vienna Woods. Passing the Roman City of Baden which is famous for its thermal springs, we drive through the romantic valley Helenental to the former Mayerling hunting lodge, (visit of memorial chapel), where Crown Prince Rudolph together with Baronesse Vetsera died tragically in 1889. In the Cistercian Abbey of Heiligenkreuz (1133) you visit the medieval cloister which houses the remains of the last Babenberger. We then pass the Höldrichsmühle and arrive at the Seegrotte.  

After a boat ride on the largest subterranean lake in Europe you leave the Vienna Woods and return to Vienna throught Castle Liechtenstein.

DAY 7

VIENNA-SCHONNBRUNN PALACE

 

Visit of Schönbrunn palace together with its ancillary buildings and extensive park is by virtue of its long and colourful history one of the most important cultural monuments in Austria. Scheduled as a listed monument, the whole ensemble, including the palace, the park and not least the oldest zoo in the world placed in UNESCO.

Afternoon: free time for exploring, shopping or relaxing.
 (Option for afternoon: visit of Museums Quartier or famous Albertina museum or Belvedere)

DAY 8

WELCOME TO BUDAPEST-QUALITY CITY TOUR
 

 

Sightseeing - impressive Buda castle - during the 15th century, under the rule of King Matthias, Buda became one of Europe’s most influential cities.
Then we move to
nearby Gellért hill  - received its name after St. Gellért who came to Hungary as a missionary bishop upon the invitation of King St. Stephen I. around 1000 AD. The fortress of the Citadel was built by the Habsburgs in 1851 to demonstrate their control over the Hungarians.

It’s time to cross the Chain Bridge,  a
t the time of its construction, the Chain Bridge was the suspension bridge with the second-largest span in the world. We are in Pest side we approach the european third largest Parliament.

Driving through Andrassy Street -
lined with spectacular Neo-renaissance mansions and townhouses featuring fine facades and interiors, it was recognised as a World Heritage Site in 2002. It is also one of Budapest's main shopping streets, with fine cafes, restaurants, theatres, and luxury boutiques. The Heroes’ square with its millenial monument was built in 1896 to commemorate the 1000th anniversary of the arrival of Hungarians in the Carpathian Basin.

Walking on Vaci street, heart of the downtown – very lively street full of
street musicians, portrait drawers, folklore fairs, shops and restaurants. Free time for exploring, shopping or relaxing.

DAY 9

At leisure. Evening Boat Trip + dinner
2 hours Boat trip – sightseeing from the river and relax on  Margaret Island – where we’ll have 1 hour break.

DAY 10

Free program until departure. Transfer to Vienna Schwechat airport.
