DAY 1, Welcome to Slovakia !

Meet & greet at the airport. Welcome dring and transfer to central Slovakia.
We'll go through the itinerary. Dinner & overnight in Banska Stiavnica.

DAY 2, Skalka hill
Breakfast from 8.00 followed by short briefing. Walking to to peak Skalka (1232m) in Kremnicke hills. Enjoy breathtaking views on Central Slovakia. After we go to the village of Kremnicke Bane that is a geographical center of Europe. Dinner & overnight in Banska Stiavnica.

DAY 3, Spania valley
Breakfast from 8.00 followed by short briefing. Visit of Spania valley (728 m), a historical mining village situated high in the mountains. Folk architecture in the village is well preserved: miner’s homes, technical monuments and remnants of a historical aqueduct, and a Romanesque church.

DAY 4, Polana
Breakfast from 8.00 followed by short briefing. Visit of the largest volcano in Central Europe - Polana reservation protected by UNESCO. Animals, such as bear, lynx and wolf, and many other animals and plants can be found. We will ascend to the top of thehill (1458m).

DAY 5, Harmanecka cave
Breakfast from 8.00 followed by short briefing. Today we'll visit Harmanecka cave. The cave is 2500 m long, out of which 720 metres are open for public. We will admire underground lakes, stalactites, stalagmites and powerful waterfalls. 9 species of bats live in this cave.  After walking & relaxing.

DAY 6, Krizna hill
Breakfast from 8.00 followed by short briefing. Walking up to  Krizna hill (1574 m), mountain with a typical meadow upland type of a landscape. The mountain meadows put on a display of all imaginable colours from spring to fall. Dinner & overnight in Banska Stiavnica.

DAY 7, Sitno hill
Breakfast from 8.00 followed by short briefing. Walking up to Sitno hill (1009m), the highest hill in the range of Stiavnicke hills. There is a unique andesite rock wall on the top of Sitno. We will also go to ”tajchs”, water reservoirs that are part of an ingenious water management system, which was built here 200 years ago. 19 lakes are still in good shape and they are intensely used for recreation (for swimming and water sports). The area of Stiavnica Hills is well known as a mecca of minerals. In the past, gold and other precious metals were exploited from the rich ores of this area.

DAY 8, Relaxing
Breakfast from 8.00 followed by short briefing. Walking up to Velka Chochula, a hill in the range of Low Tatras. It towers above the city of Banska Bystrica and there is a great view of the entire central Slovakia from its top. Dinner & overnight in Banska Stiavnica.

Breakfast from 8.00 followed by free program until departure. Transfer to the airport.
