Travelling, discovering new places and sharing my discoveries has been my passion since childhood. I decided to turn this passion into a profession in 2009, when I got my guide license and started working in the field straight away. My mother tongue is Slovak and besides that I speak English, German, Czech and Polish. Mainly I guide in central european countries – Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Austria and Hungary. But I am experienced in guiding in Germany, Netherlands, Slovenia and Croatia too. My hobbies are hiking, cycling, skiing and snowboarding / I am a licensed snowboard instructor too/, reading and cooking. And I love to spend time with my wife and our three kids. I look forward to touring with you.

I can show you around in two languages- in English and German. From my own experiences and tours I have done, I enjoy sharing the most with you stories from the 20th century and the Old Jewish Bratislava. During sunny days you can meet me on my motorbike, when it is a bit colder, I definitely have fun with my snowboard in the Austrian mountains.

I am native of Považská Bystrica, a graduate of the guide course at the University of Economics in Bratislava. I am active in the tourism industry since 2016, since then i accompanied mostly private but also group tours (mainly from the USA, UK, Israel, but also from Asia, South Africa, Australia or New Zealand) to the highlights of Slovakia, or also the Czech Republic, Slovenia and northern Croatia. I do tours in English.

In spite of the fact this is my 33rd season as a guide in Bratislava and Vienna I still improve my skills. For example, recently I finished successfully a prestigious course of Interpretive Guiding held in Czech Republic. Besides regular tours I love tours that concentrate on architectural styles like Art-nouveau, Rondocubism, Functionalism and Socialist Realism. I am very “sporty” and I love cycling and hiking tours, too. As you can see, my job is my hobby:-)
