DAY 2, highlight: Bratislava - walking in the heart of the city centre
Breakfast from 8.00. We start today with VIP Sightseeing Tour with a professional guide focused on medieval architecture. This tour consists from 2hrs walking tour with a professional guide where you visit the highlights of the city such as Primate Palace (the largest palace in Bratislava where the Treaty of Pressburg in 1805 was signed), St. Martin Cathedral (one of the largest gothic construction of Bratislava where between the years 1563-1830 the coronations of 19 rulers including Austria-Hungarian empress Maria Theresa took place), Michael's gate - the only preserved gate from medieval times, Slovak National Theatre, City Hall, historical narrow streets, squares and lots more. You continue by minibus where you visit Slavin War Memorial (a cemetery is a place of reverence where 6845 Soviet soldiers are buried who perished during the liberation of Bratislava and its environs in April 1945),
Bratislava Castle (an important fortified settlement at the end of the 9th century. The first written reference to Bratislava from 907 is related to this period). DAY 3, towns: Trnava, Nitra
Breakfast from 08.00. Transfer to Trnava town (40min drive) - one of the oldest Slovak towns, gaining the privileges of a free royal town as early as 1238. A large part of Trnava's unique brick fortifications dating back to the 13th century are standing today, as are many medieval burgher houses and a variety of sacred buildings.
Trnava became a seat of the archbishop of Esztergom for nearly three centuries (1541-1820)..Visit the University Church, one of the most significant sacred buildings in Slovakia, main square & other churches.
Transfer to Nitra town (87000 inhabitants), 30min drive. City tour & lunch break.
Transfer to Trencin (1hour drive) - Trencin town (population 60000), one of the few towns in Slovakia that can boast of being a documented settlement stretching back to Roman times. An inscription on the castle rock is evidence that a Roman legion spent a winter here and set up a military camp known as Laugaricio. Sightseeing around the City Center. Dinner & overnight in Trencin.
DAY 4, towns: Bardejov
Breakfast from 8.00. Transfer to Bardejov town (4hrs 40min drive) -north-eastern part of Slovakia, best-preserved medieval town was established on a trade route to Poland in the 13th century. Many historical buildings from this era have been preserved up to the present, furnishing Bardejov with its unique medieval atmosphere. The town is surrounded by ramparts with 11 bastions and two gates...The picturesque central square, flanked by the Gothic & Rennaissance burgher houses and the Gothic St. Egidius Cathedral from the 15th century. The interior contains priceless 11 Gothic altars from 15th century still standing in their original positions. We'll visit remarkable Town Hall, Executioner's house, fortification walls & synagogue. Lunch & sightseeing tour around the city center. Free Time. Dinner & overnight in Bardejov.
DAY 5, towns: Kosice
Breakfast from 8.00. City tour in Bardejov town, best-preserved medieval town was established on a trade route to Poland in the 13th century. Many historical buildings from this era have been preserved up to the present, furnishing Bardejov with its unique medieval atmosphere. The town is surrounded by ramparts with 11 bastions and two gates...The picturesque central square, flanked by the Gothic & Rennaissance burgher houses and the Gothic St. Egidius Cathedral from the 15th century. The interior contains priceless 11 Gothic altars from 15th century still standing in their original positions. We'll visit remarkable Town Hall, Executioner's house, fortification walls & synagogue. Lunch around 02.00pm & Sightseeing tour around the city center.
Transfer to Presov (Slovakia's 3rd biggest city with 93000 inhabitants), 30min drive. A tour around the beautiful main square with well preserved houses from 16th century. The dominant of the centre is Gothic Cathedral of St. Nicholas, next to Protestant college & Protestant church (17th century), synagogue in Presov is one of the best-preserved buildings of its kind in Slovakia, nowadays its a Museum of Jewish culture.
Transfer to Kosice - an important cultural, scientific and commercial centre of Slovakia. The favourable natural conditions here attracted the first settlers in the Stone Age. The first monasteries were established here in the 11th-13th centuries and Kosice growth was given a boost bz the arrival of German settlers in the 13th century.
The Golden Age (15th cent.) when Kosice was a centre for trade and crafts and one of the biggest towns in the whole Kingdom of Hungary..Kosice is now home to a number of universities, scientific institutions, theatres, philharmonic orchestra and a number of foreign and international companies, all of them giving this city a lively and cosmopolitan flavour.
Lunch & sightseeing tour to explore the city. Visit the main square and the Gothic St. Elisabeth Catedral (the biggest Gothic church in Slovakia), Jesuit church & monastery, Franciscan church & monastery, Miklus's prison - one of the best preserved structures from Middle Ages, Eastern Slovak Museums -15th-17th century gold coins from all over Europe. Dinner & overnight in Kosice.
DAY 6, highlight: articular protestant Church in Hronsek
Breakfast from 8.00. Banska Bystrica, 85000inhabitants, is the administrative centre of central Slovakia. Sightseeing tour around the Old City Centre focused on Middle Ages & medieval character of the town, climb up on the clock tower and enjoy amazing view on a main square & surrounded area. You'll visit museum of Slovak National Uprising, as the Slovak National Uprising started exactly here in Banska Bystrica, 29 August 1944, uprising against the entry of Wehrmacht ( the Nazis ) to our land.
Transfer to Banska Stiavnica (40min drive), a mining town, listed in UNESCO. Welcome to the land of miners ! The glorious history of Banska Stiavnica started with the year 1238 when it was bestowed the privileges of a royal town. You will visit here the Old Castle, New Castle, a mining museum & Knocking tower. Great souvenir shops is located on the main square. Lunch break.
Transfer to Kremnica town (40min drive), smallest of the mining towns in central Slovakia. The mint founded here in 1329 is now the world's oldest operating factory of its kind, making coins and medals for many countries. Between the 14th-16th century, Kremnica ducats were among the most popular tender in Europe. Kremnica - also called the "golden town", whose ducats granted the thrones of many monarchs.
In this town you can feel the history in every street, house and church. Each building tells a story about a period in time, and from this mosaic a brief picture of our history can be composed.
Kremnica belongs to the medieval towns, which, in times of their glory, were attended by monarchs, and other men of note, who had tried to capture the town and possess the rich deposits of gold. Llunch break & transfer to Bratislava (2hrs 15min drive).

DAY 7, Farewell
Breakfast from 8:00, followed by free program until departure. Transfer to the airport.
