We’ll take you there. Situated high on the rock above the river Orava, 13th century Orava Castle belongs
to one of the greatest attractions of the Northern Slovakia. You’ll tour through every
courtyard, room, halls up to the very top. It’s a national cultural monument and an
iconic filming location (the most famous is the vampire film Nosferatu).
After the special castle visit, we’ll invite you to a tasty Slovak traditional lunch –
cabbage soup ‘kapustova polievka’, potato dumplings with sheep cheese
‘bryndzove halusky’ and a sweet delicacy.

Bratislava Jewish Heritage Tour

On our private walking Jewish Heritage tour, we'll give you a comprehensive overview of the rich Jewish History in Bratislava. We'll drive to see the Chatam Sofer memorial,- the burial site of the Chatam Sofer who was a prominent rabbi and scholar in the 18-19th century who established a famous yeshiva. It is visited by Jewish pilgrims from all around the world (the visit must be pre-booked). Afterwards, we'll continue to see the only still standing and operating Synagogue. Then, we'll walk to see the place where once a Neolog Synagogue used to stand and visit the former Jewish Quarter. While walking on Zidovska ulica / Jewish Street, we'll also mention the famous Jewish personalities they lived and worked in Bratislava (at that time Pressburg) and show you where the Great Synagogue, the yeshiva of Bratislava, Neolog and an Orthodox schools were built.

Museum of Jewish Heritage and an active Orthodox Synagogue.

On our lovely day trip around Bratislava, we’ll firstly drive to Devin castle, a mighty fortress standing on a cliff at the confluence of Danube and Morava rivers. We admire the stunning views of Austria from the top of the castle, get the comprehensive information about “Iron curtain” – the former border between the West and the East.

We continue with Slavin War memorial and Bratislava castle visit, enjoy the views, and the baroque garden. Drive to see the Blue church and the new quarter (Eurovea mall).

Time to visit our the heart of Bratislava, - the Old town, let’s have a tasty lunch, followed by a private Quality Sightseeing Walking Tour where you immerse to the history, architecture, music and present-day city life. Walk on the 18th century prominent Hviezdoslav Square with its impressive building of the Slovak National Theatre, admire gothic St. Martin’s Cathedral, once a coronation venue for 18 Habsburg’s rulers, walk through the St. Michael’s Gate, Look around the Main Square with its historical Town Hall complex and Maximillian fountain, the most beautiful Primate’s palace, former winter residence of the archbishops, discover hidden courtyards, numerous statues and fountains. We'll drive to the battlefield of the Battle of the Three Emperors, which was one of the most important and decisive engagements of the Napoleonic Wars. Widely regarded as the greatest victory achieved by Napoleon, the Grand Army of France annihilated a larger Russian and Austrian army led by Tsar Alexander I and Holy Roman Emperor Francis II. Austerlitz brought the War of the Third Coalition to a rapid end, with the Treaty of Pressburg signed by the exhausted Austrians later in the month.

Afterwards, we'll continue to go to Brno – the 2nd largest Czech city. Lunch break and trying traditional tasty Czech meals and beers, followed by a city tour and visit of the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, standing proud on the Petrov hill. Do you know why the noon bell rings at 11o'clock? Enough free time and drive back to Bratislava.

We'll visit the spectacular Lednice and Valtice chateau complex, listed on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Guided tour through the chateau and enjoyable walking through the unique park full of rare tree species, romantic little buildings, fishponds and beautiful little corners. Chateau Lednice gained its ostentatious neo-Gothic appearance thanks to conversion in the middle of the 19th century. At that time, it was used for summer meetings of the European aristocracy. Tasty Czech lunch and a glass of superb Moravian wine. The other chateau – Valtice – was the spectacular residence of the Austrian and Moravian Lords of Lichtenstein. It is known not only for its beauty, but also the long tradition of winemaking. Grape vines were brought here by the Roman legion of Emperor Marcus Aurelius, who regarded the area of Pálava as suitable for cultivation of wine.

The Basilica of Esztergom, a masterpiece of Classicism, is the third-largest church in Europe. Established around 972 AD, Esztergom has always played an important role in Hungary’s history. It was the birth and coronation place of the first Hungarian king, St. Stephen, as well as the capital of Hungary until the 13th century. After the Mongolian invasion, King Bela IV moved the Royal Seat to Visegrad and later to Buda, giving his palace to the archbishop and making Esztergom a religious center. Today, we visit one of the oldest historical monuments in Hungary – the Benedictine Archabbey of Pannonhalma, located on the top of St. Martin hill. The abbey was founded in 996 by Prince Géza who designated this as a place for the monks to settle and then it soon became the center of the Benedictine order. Later, Hungarian king Stephen I completed the construction and donated estates and privileges to the monastery.

One of the greatest capital cities of the world with a wonderful setting along the two banks of the Danube, bewildering eclectic architectural heritage, and a stunning atmosphere.

Budapest is full of architectural gems, atmospheric streets, it also has several pleasant parks and islands, and of course, the majestically flowing river the Danube, which cuts the city into two parts: Pest and Buda.

Pest is completely flat (this includes downtown Budapest), while Buda is a hilly area, and includes two of the most popular vantage points of the city: Castle Hill and Gellért Hill.

On our day trip, we enjoy the view from Gellert hill, know more about the history of Buda & Pest, then we move to the Castle District Hill, seeing the Royal Palace, The Fishermen Bastion with a panoramic view, the Holy Trinity Square, its Matthias Church, and the Old Town Hall.

Crossing the Chain Bridge, we get from Buda to Pest and approach the European third largest Parliament. We’ll drive through Andrassy street up to Hero’s square, Then we’ll come back to Vaci shopping street.

Only 20 minutes from Bratislava, lies Hainburg, a little easternmost Austrian town. Admire 13century city walls with their bastions and gates. Vienna gate is the largest still existing gate in Europe. It was this town where famous Austrian composer Joseph Haydn came as a six-year-old boy to learn the rudiments of music from his relatives. To commemorate him, there is a Haydn fountain on the main square.

We climb up to the Hainburg castle ruin from the 11th century. Enjoy Stunning views on the Danube river. We move to Carnuntum – the former Roman city.
Discover the rebuilt Roman City Quarter, the Military City’s Amphitheatre as well as the Museum Carnuntinum
