On our lovely day trip around Bratislava, we’ll firstly drive to Devin castle, a mighty fortress standing on a cliff at the confluence of Danube and Morava rivers. We admire the stunning views of Austria from the top of the castle, get the comprehensive information about “Iron curtain” – the former border between the West and the East.
We continue with Slavin War memorial and Bratislava castle visit, enjoy the views, and the baroque garden. Drive to see the Blue church and the new quarter (Eurovea mall).
Time to visit our the heart of Bratislava, - the Old town, let’s have a tasty lunch, followed by a private Quality Sightseeing Walking Tour where you immerse to the history, architecture, music and present-day city life. Walk on the 18th century prominent Hviezdoslav Square with its impressive building of the Slovak National Theatre, admire gothic St. Martin’s Cathedral, once a coronation venue for 18 Habsburg’s rulers, walk through the St. Michael’s Gate, Look around the Main Square with its historical Town Hall complex and Maximillian fountain, the most beautiful Primate’s palace, former winter residence of the archbishops, discover hidden courtyards, numerous statues and fountains. Time for taking photos, having a coffee and cake break.
Please note, this is tour is by car (Devin castle, Slavin memorial and Bratislava castle, Blue church and New Quarter) and on foot (Old town walking tour). We only use Mercedes Benz V class vans to guarantee the top quality and maximum comfort.
A lunch can be on the boat harbored on the Danube (Danube brewery) or up in the TV tower or at any restaurant in Bratislava. We'll make a table reservation.
