When do I receive the vouchers?
Best Slovakia Tours s.r.o. sends travel documents via email within 1-2 working days after we have received the deposit payment.
How can I make a reservation for a selected tour?
Book on-line or send us an e-mail with your details. For tours with regular departures we require 25% deposit of the full amount. After the payment your tour is booked & secured.
We consider your reservation completed after we have received 25% deposit paid securely on-line. The outstanding balance will be paid by credit card or in cash on your arrival.
What is the cancellation policy?
20% of the total tour price if the Contract is cancelled more than 35 days before the tour,
30% of the total tour price if the Contract is cancelled btw 34 to 31 days before the tour,
50% of the total tour price if the Contract is cancelled btw 30 to 21 days before the tour,
80% of the total tour price if the Contract is cancelled btw 20 to 16 days before the tour,
100% of the total tour price if the Contract is cancelled less than 15 days before the tour.
If, for any reason, Best Slovakia Tours cancels the tour, your money will be fully refunded.
When is the best time to travel to Slovakia?
You can travel to Slovakia year round. Pick the season best suited to your taste and needs. As you head to the mountains ( Central Slovakia ) the climate becomes cooler.
June, July, August are great months for hiking tours.
September is great for City tour and is not overcrowded with tourists.
Winter season starts from December to February, where there are good skiing conditions in the mountains.
Generally, the most popular time to travel is from May through October. Summers are warm, but not extremely hot.
What kind of clothing should I bring?
The weather is comfortable in the summer, but can get quite chilly in the mountains. Bring casual clothes, some warmer items if your tour takes place in March, mid-April or in the second half of September. Be sure to have good walking boots if your tour involves hiking and consider some decent smart clothes if the tour involves classical music concert or ballet.

How many people can book a tour around Slovakia or a weekend trip to Bratislava?
We can arrange a weekend city break for 1 person to a group of 40+ for our weekend breaks in Bratislava.
For our Slovakian tours we normally have to 8 – 15 people to keep it more personal, but if you are a larger group then it would be no problem for us to have up to 40+ people.
