Less than 2hrs from Bratislava lie a World Heritage site – Wachau valley, the spectacular landscape along the Danube river, known for its wine and many renaissance little towns, historical castles and churches.
We stop in Durnstein little town and climb up to the castle ruin. The views on the Danube are just stunning.
Afterwards, we drive to another little town where we will have a lunch break – chance to try tasty Austrian meals & wines.
This region is famous for dry white wines, mostly Grüner Veltliner and Riesling. There are 3 different styles of wine, which will be your most favorite? Will it be the lightest Steinfeder, richer Federspiel or the highest quality Smaragd. (included in the price)
On the way back a short stop in Krems, the 5th largest Austrian city. Short strolling around, coffee & cake and departure to Bratislava.
