Vienna – Budapest – Bratislava Tour
Once Austria-Hungary, a dual monarchy, today, 3 independent countries and their lovely capitals. The Danube river connects them.

FULL DAY - VIENNA QUALITY SIGHTSEEING TOUR & FREE TIME
Morning: Start a day with a drive on Ringstrasse, more than 5km long, world-famous, and most beautiful boulevard in the world built under the reign of Emperor Franz Joseph. Admire imperial palaces on the way, Vienna state opera, museums of fine arts and natural history, parliament building with a well-known statue of Pallas-Athene, city hall, and other sights. Afterward, we continue with the Quality Sightseeing walking tour - famous State’s opera, we enter into the gothic St. Stephan`s Cathedral – the symbol of Vienna. Which of the church towers hide the most famous bell Pummerin? We also enter into the magnificent baroque St. Peter’s church, café Demel, first café house in Vienna, walkthrough Hofburg palace complex - the winter residence of former Habsburg dynasty, Museum’s quarter, Rathaus and Parliament. Walk on famous shopping streets such as Kartnerstrasse, Am Graben and Kohlmarkt. Get an overview of Austrian history in an easy and understandable way. The glory of the days of the Austro-Hungarian empire, Maria Theresa and famous rulers of the Habsburg dynasty, interesting facts, famous musicians, painters, Sigmund Freud, and more.
Afternoon: Lunch break – in a traditional restaurant where you can try tasty Austrian delicacies. Will be the Wiener Schnitzel your most favorite? Vienna is sweet! The innumerable Viennese cafés are favorite spots for both local and international coffee lovers. Why not take a rest while enjoying the famous Viennese coffee and famous Sacher cake? BUDAPEST – THE QUEEN OF THE DANUBE RIVER
Morning: We continue to discover more of Vienna. Drive to Schonbrunn Palace – former summer residence of the Habsburgs with attractive interior exposition. Grand tour offers to see all 40 rooms open for visitors. Afterward, let’s walk to the gardens. They are breathtaking. Lunch in Vienna and departure to Budapest (2hrs 30min).
Welcome to Budapest. We drive to the Gellert viewpoint to see the lovely panorama of Buda and Pest, the Danube river, and the famous bridges. The views are fantastic. Take your time for pictures. Drive to hotel and at leisure.

FULL DAY IN BUDAPEST – THE QUALITY SIGHTSEEING & FREE TIME
Morning: Visit of impressive Buda castle Hill – UNESCO World Heritage – during the 15th century, under the rule of King Matthias, Buda became one of Europe’s most influential cities. Visit of Matthias church – the scene of a big coronation ceremony when emperor Franz Joseph and his wife Elizabeth (Sisi) were crowned, and thus the Austro-Hungarian Empire was established. Fishermen’s bastion – only 100 years old – a favorite lookout. In medieval times, the fish market was nearby and the bastion was built to commemorate the fishermen who protected this part of the city. Enjoy the stunning views on the European 3rd largest Parliament. It’s time to cross the Chain Bridge, at the time of its construction, the Chain Bridge was the suspension bridge with the second-largest span in the world.
Afternoon: Continue to see the Andrassy boulevard, Parliament, Liberty square. The Heroes’ square – largest & most impressive – with its millennial monument was built in 1896 to commemorate the 1000th anniversary of the arrival of Hungarians in the Carpathian Basin.

BRATISLAVA – THE BEAUTY OF THE DANUBE
Morning: Drive to Bratislava (2hr 15 drive) and start with the tour of Devin castle – situated at the confluence of the Danube & Morava rivers. Its owners could control the important trade route along the Danube as well as one branch of the Amber Road. After admiring the beautiful castle ruin and enjoying views on Austria, we show you where once the “Iron curtain” – the former border between the West and the East used to stand. An overview of the communist history (1948-1989). Devin area is also famous for its current wine. Have you ever tried current wine? Try now, It’s a regional specialty. Drive back and visit Slavin (World War2 memorial) and symbol of the city – Bratislava castle – to enjoy stunning views of the Danube river and know more about its rich history.
Afternoon: After a lunch break in the Old town (we will recommend you a great restaurant), continue with the quality sightseeing tour to show you the highlights of the Old town. Walking through the main square (admire a beautiful former town hall), the Primate Palace (outside) – the largest in Bratislava where the Treaty of Pressburg was signed in the Hall of Mirrors. Take pictures of some of our funny statues such as Cumil – the worker. Visit of the St. Martin’s Cathedral – the coronation place of 18 rulers including Austria-Hungarian empress Maria Theresa, walking through the only preserved entrance – Michaels gate. Late afternoon at leisure.

SMALL CARPATHIAN TRIP & FREE TIME IN BRATISLAVA
Morning: We drive from Bratislava along Small Carpathian Mountain Range through various former royal towns until we reach Modra, a town famous for viniculture and hand-thrown ceramics. Visiting workshop Slovak Folk Majolik, the major producer of the world-known Majolica ceramics. A piece of ceramics makes an excellent present or souvenir.
Red Stone Castle is our next stop. We look round this magnificent, well-preserved Renaissance/Baroque castle owned by famous families like the Fugger’s or the Pallfy’s. We visit the fully-furnished interior part, the Gentlemen and Ladies` Parlour, the picture gallery, furniture exposition, the library, the chapel, the exposition of historic weapons, wine cellars, and a lot more.
Afternoon: Tasty lunch followed by wine tasting includes a visit to a traditional wine cellar where wine and cheese plates are served, giving you a chance to taste 6 samples of local quality wines. Back to Bratislava and at leisure.
Walk and relax on the Danube promenade. Numerous café’s, great atmosphere, river Danube and Shopping mall Eurovea.
