FULL DAY - BUDAPEST QUALITY SIGHTSEEING TOUR & FREE TIME
Morning: We drive to the Gellert viewpoint to see the lovely panorama of Buda and Pest, Danube river and the famous bridges. The views are fantastic. Take your time for pictures. Visit of impressive Buda castle Hill – UNESCO World Heritage - during the 15th century, under the rule of King Matthias, Buda became one of Europe’s most influential cities. Visit of Matthias church - the scene of a big coronation ceremony when emperor Franz Joseph and his wife Elizabeth (Sisi) were crowned, and thus the Austro-Hungarian Empire was established. Fishermen’s bastion - only 100 years old - a favorite lookout. In medieval times, the fish market was nearby and the bastion was built to commemorate the fishermen who protected this part of the city. Enjoy the stunning views on European 3rd largest Parliament. It’s time to cross the Chain Bridge, at the time of its construction, the Chain Bridge was the suspension bridge with the second-largest span in the world.
Afternoon: Continue to see the Andrassy boulevard, Parliament, Liberty square. The Heroes’ square – largest & most impressive - with its millennial monument was built in 1896 to commemorate the 1000th anniversary of the arrival of Hungarians in the Carpathian Basin.

BANSKA STIAVNICA and VLKOLINEC & HIGH TATRA MOUNTAINS
Morning: This morning we have a scenic drive northeast. After 2hrs driving we’ll be in one of the most beautiful, most romantic, and most special towns - a picturesque Banska Stiavnica. It is like to step in the past centuries. Get an overview of the rich history of this town connected with the mining of silver, copper, and gold. Visit of the Old castle – a majestic fortress, 16th century New castle, the heart of the Old town – the Holy Trinity square with beautiful sights such as the gothic 15th century St. Catherine church admires Renaissance buildings and the baroque Holy Trinity column.
Afternoon: Lunch break at restaurant Monarchia is about homemade specialties and a great atmosphere. Do you like beer? Then, ERB restaurant will satisfy you with its high-quality microbrewery and delicious cuisine. Which of these special beers from Slovak ingredients will be your favorite? We continue to see an exceptional mountain village Vlkolinec (UNESCO sight since 1993), hidden in the hills of the NationalPark Velka Fatra. Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views and colorful 45 wooden log houses. It is the best-preserved oasis of folk architecture. We continue to the High Tatra mountains – the heart of Slovakia.
Evening: Dinner on your own or we can book the tables at Koliba restaurant – a traditional wooden chalet with traditional tasty Slovak dishes, waiters in folk costumes, and Slovak folk music. Start with a shot of “Slivovica” – a plum brandy. Garlic soup, cabbage, or lentil soup? Enjoy our national meal Bryndzove halusky (Potato dumplings with melted sheep cheese and pieces of bacon). What about dessert? Apple strudel is highly recommended to try.

A DAY IN PARADISE - A DAY SPENT IN MAGICAL HIGH TATRAS
Afternoon: We move to Tatranska Lomnica town (15min by car) to take a cable car (tickets not included) to Skalnate Pleso station to see the High Tatra mountains from above. We enjoy a little walk around Skalnate Pleso, with views of the Lomnicky peak, and valley views.
Please note: if you would like to go up to the top of Lomnicky peak (2nd highest peak in the High Tatras), it is necessary an advance booking. Please let us know. Other possibilities what to do today

Morning: We travel further to the east to visit 2 UNESCO jewels. History enthusiasts will admire the charming medieval town Levoca, a cultural & historic jewel among Slovak towns. Visit of the 14th century Roman Catholic basilica of St. James with its tallest wooden wing gothic altar in the world - a masterpiece from Master Paul of Levoca. Get more details about this amazing wood crafter in a museum where he lived and worked.
Spiss castle It is not just evidence of architectural development from the 12th to
18th century, but it is one of the largest castle ruins in Central Europe. Mighty and
impressive fortress in a stunning location. Get more information about the former

Afternoon: We head towards Poland with a stop in a charming little Zdiar village to have a tasty traditional Slovak lunch. Drive to Krakow (2hrs). The city of Krakow, once a seat of Polish kings and the capital of the country, is nowadays an exceptionally beautiful second largest Polish city. Morning: Start with a Quality Sightseeing walking tour. Walk on the former Royal route where you can find the greatest treasures such as Florianska gate and street, the Main Square (Rynek Glowny) in the center of Krakow's Old Town district is Europe's largest medieval square and has been the hub of the city since the 13th century. It contains some of Krakow's most famous sights, including the Cloth Hall, the Basilica of St Mary, the Town Hall Tower, and the tiny 11th-century church of St Adalbert. Visit the courtyard of the famous Jagiellon university.
