DAY 1
WELCOME TO SLOVAKIA
We’ll pick you up from the airport and comfortable drive you to the green heart of Slovakia – NP Mala Fatra. The comfortable drive takes 3 hours from Vienna Schwechat airport, Austria, 2 hours 15min from Bratislava, Slovakia and 3 hours from Krakow, Poland.
Relaxing walk in Terchova, welcome dinner and drink, itinerary introduction and start of your lovely hiking holiday.

DAY 2
JANOSIKOVE DIERY
Breakfast at 8am, briefing, departure at 8:45am. The hiking tour through “Janosik‘ holes” is spectacular. Expect walking on ladders, and being surrounded by streams and beautiful nature. It’s without a doubt one of the most popular tour in Mala Fatra and you will soon know why.
*) it is possible to choose between the shorter tour 2-3 hours or the longer 4-5 hours

DAY 3
VELKY ROZSUTEC / 1610 m
Today, we’ll hike up to Velky Rozsutec (1610m), one of the most beautiful peaks of Slovakia and the symbol of NP Mala Fatra. The panoramic views are breathtaking, you’ll see the ‚younger brother‘ – Maly Rozsutec peak (1343m), Stoh and Osnica
Route: Stefanova – Podzdiar – Medzirozsutce – Velky Rozsutec – Medziholie
*) from March 1 until June 15 is the trail to Velky Rozsutec closed, alternative tour to Maly Rozsutec will be offered

DAY 4
SULOVSKE SKALY / ROCKS
Today, picturesque views are waiting for us. A very popular, easy to walk tour to Sulov castle ruin. Walking through the forest, on the top are interesting rocks, such as “Gothic gate”. A picnic break on the top.

DAY 5
MANINSKA UZINA / NARROW
Breakfast at 8am, briefing, departure at 8:45am. Let’s hike today in the narrowest canyon in Slovakia. There are interesting rock forms and rare fauna & flora.
Route: Maninska tiesnava – Zaskalie – Pod Velkym Maninom – Vapencova jaskyna – Maninska tiesnava
Total hiking time: 3hr 30min
Total length: 9 km (5,6 mi)
Level of difficulty: easy to moderate
Lowest altitude: 335 m (1,099 ft)
Highest altitude: 820 m (2,690 ft)
Gained elevation: 485 m (1,590 ft)

DAY 6
LIETAVSKY HRAD / CASTLE
Today, we’ll do an easy tour to one of the greatest castles of Slovakia lying on the top of a limestone cliff. Nowadays in ruins, once belonged to one of the most powerful lords – Matus Cak Trenciansky. Enjoy the great views of Mala Fatra and Sulovske rocks.
On the way back, we can stop in Rajecke Teplice (SPA town) and/or in Cicmany (painted wooden houses – folk architecture).

FAREWELL TO OUR TRAVEL FRIENDS!
