DAY 1

DAY 2

WARSAW QUALITY SIGHTSEEING TOUR

We’ll start with a quality walking tour (with our local professional tour guide) on Krakowskie Przedmiescie – the best known and prestigious streets of Poland. It links the parts of the Royal route, Old town and Royal castle, castle square with the column of King Sigismund III Vasa who moved the capital from Krakow to Warsaw.

On the walking tour we will pass Presidential palace, Warsaw university and the Polish Academy of Sciences.  See the highlights of Warsaw as well as WW2 devastation and rebuilt process. Lunch break & continue with Lazienki park, then free time (relaxing, shopping)

DAY 3

WARSAW – LODZ – KRAKOW

Drive to Lodz – during the Poland’s Industrial Revolution it was one of the most multicultural and industrial centres in Europe. Today, bursting with creative energy, city is well suited for artists, film makes and free thinkers. Lonely Planet named Lodz as the 2nd Best Value Destination for 2019. Let’s walk on Piotrkowska street – the longest commercial street in Poland. From Plac Wolnosci (Liberty square) to the junction Pilsudskiego it is 4.2km. Admire lots of architectural styles from the neo-baroqure (House of Schiebler, Wilhelm Landau’s Bank House, art nouveau styles. Then, Holly-Lodz – pavement stars honour Roman Polanski, a graduate of the city’s film school and pianist Arthur Rubinstein. Lunch and drive to Krakow. Evening’s walk around Krakow’s lovely square.

DAY 4

KRAKOW – POLAND’S ROYAL CITY

Start with a a walking tour to Wavel royal castle – situated in the centre of Krakow, on the edge of the Old Town. The Wawel Castle and its cathedral have experienced over 1000 years of both glorious and turbulent history. Together they now form one of the most popular tourist attractions in the region. We walk to the Market Square (Rynek Glowny) for a tasty Polish lunch.

The square is the centre of Krakow’s Old Town district and Europe’s largest medieval square, it has been the hub of the city since the 13th century. It contains some of Krakow’s most famous sights, including the Cloth Hall, the Basilica of St Mary, the Town Hall tower and the tiny 11th-century Church of St Adalbert. Lunch and visit Kazimierz district. South of the Old town lies Kazimierz, once it was the centre of Jewish life in Krakow for over 500 years, before it was destroyed during WWII, rebuilt after 1990s. Today, it belongs to Krakow’s most exciting districts with plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants and galleries. Visit of Old Synagogue, Remuh Synagogue and more sights. Well-known for its associations with Oscar Schindler and Spielberg’s Schindler List. On request we can organize a visit of Oskar Schindler factory or Auschwitz camp (it is necessary an advance booking).

DAY 5

KRAKOW – ZAKOPANE

Drive to Wieliczka Salt Mine, the world’s oldest active salt mine, tour with a local guide. Lunch break and drive to the foot of the Tatra mountains, the highest mountain range of the Carpathians. Zakopane, one of the most famous and popular Polish summer and winter resorts, located between Tatra mountains and Gubalowka hill. Know more about Goral people, their culture with unique styles of food, architecture, music and costumes. Try oscypek – the highlander cheese made of sheep’s milk.

DAY 6

ZAKOPANE – TRIP TO MORSKIE OKO

s Zakopane offers an impressive range of hiking trails and everyone can find a suitable route based on their level of experiences. We’ll hike to Morskie Oko, a simple hiking tour which takes you to Morskie Oko – the mountain lake which was recognized by The Wall Street Journal as the one of the five most beautiful lakes in the world. Afterwards, relax and free time.

DAY 7

WROCLAW – THE VENICE OF THE NORTH

Drive to Wroclaw, a lunch break followed by Quality Walking Tour, let’s start on the Market Square, one of the European largest. One of the most popular activities to do in Wroclaw is the dwarfs-hunting. They are the symbol of Wroclaw. The history of the dwarfs started in the 1980’s as the Polish anti-communist underground movement – Orange Alternative – decided to fight with the government by painting graffiti of little dwarfs on city walls. The first monument of a dwarf was only placed in 2003, now, we have around 800 of them, each dwarf has its own character, outfit and profession. Our walking tour continues to Cathedral Island, the oldest part of the city with a history of 1000 years.

DAY 8

TORUN – GINGERBREAD CITY

Drive to Torun, a lunch break and the afternoon walking tour around the Old Town. As you probably know, Torun is the birthplace of Nicolaus Copernicus, the famous astronomer and we’ll visit this spectacular Museum of Nicolaus Copernicus.

DAY 9

GDANSK – WORLD CAPITAL OF AMBER

Drive to Gdansk (2hrs), the quality city tour to see the symbols of the city (from the Golden gate walking on Dlugi Targ up to the Green gate), such as the massive brick bulk of St. Mary’s Basilica towering over the city, (the largest brick temple in the world, often referred as the Crown of Gdansk) the Renaissance facades of the houses around Long Market and the statue of Neptune. The medieval crane. The thousand year old city on the Baltic coast has been the hometown of Johannes Hevelius (Polish astronomer), Fahrenheit, Arthur Schopenhauer (philosopher), Grass and Wales. Get to know about Gdansk rich heritage of fascinating culture & turbulent history.

DAY 10

GDANSK – WESTERPLATTE

Drive to Westerplatte (30min), the historic site where World War II broke out on September 1, 1939. Visit of the museum and a monument dedicated to the Polish defenders. Afterwards, visit of Museum of WW2 and Solidarity museum.

DAY 11

MALBORK – WARSAW

Drive to Malbork castle,- an iconic gothic fortress and world’s largest entirely brick complex, located on the Nogat river in the Northern Poland. It was founded in the 13th century by the Teutonic Knights,- an order of German crusaders, later it became a residence for the Polish kings. Castle tour, lunch and drive to Warsaw.
